Bento Baon: Hotsilog

Silog in Filipino means “with egg and fried rice.” For this bento, I made a popular Filipino -silog meal: hotdog + sinangag (fried rice) + itlog (egg).

But of course, I had to make it fun! 🙂

I got the Filipino hotdogs in the frozen aisle of my local Asian store. They were pre-cooked already, so I just popped these in the microwave real it quick before cutting them up to make them look like crabs.

The eyes are plastic food picks.

A little secret about the fried rice – it’s actually 70% fried riced cauliflower. Still trying to commit to that low-carb life 😉
