On a recent trip, Joel and I saw an Auntie Anne’s at the airport. Naturally, that made us crave some delicious pretzel bites. Not wanting to pay for overpriced ones from Auntie Anne’s, we made it a point to try to replicate those little bites of heaven in our own kitchen. That finally happened this weekend, and thus here’s the finished product:We took a shortcut and used ready-made pizza dough for the pretzel bites. As for the queso dip, I used processed cheese and loaded it with ground beef, tomatoes, jalapeños, and cilantro. It’s not the healthiest foods, but sometimes you have just got to satisfy those bread and
processed cheese cravings.
Here’s an action shot of Joel taking a picture of our delicious creation. It’s always fun when we do the cooking together. 🙂
